Joseph is suffering from "Dyspepsia?" in the 1880 census and living just a few doors away from William Jackson age 52 also born in England. His wife Margrett 44 was born in Wales. Children Betsy 20, George H. 16, and Polley 12 were all born in IA. In the 1860 census William is 31 and Margaret 26, also living close by. Seems like the same place. In the 1860 census Joseph is listed as age 29 and Jane is age 33. |
